The popular romantic comedy series "Emily in Paris" is set to return for its fourth season, much to the excitement of its fans.
The renewal of the show was announced by the creative team back in 2022, prior to the release of the third season.
In the season three finale, Emily (played by Lily Collins) is on the brink of a relationship with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), but their romantic future is uncertain after the
interruption of Gabriel's wedding to Camille (Camille Razat), who is revealed to be pregnant. Fans are eager to see what happens next for Emily and her friends in Paris.
The other key players including Ashley Park, Camille Razat, Lucas Bravo, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gouery are expected to be part of season 4.
The fate of Lucien Laviscount's character Alfie, however, remains uncertain, as his exit from the show in the third season finale could mean an end to his on-again-off-again relationship with Emily.
Creator Darren Star hinted at the possibility of Alfie's return, saying that although his relationship with Emily has ended, he could still have a reason to be in Paris, where he's working with Gabriel.
While the exact release date for the fourth season has yet to be confirmed by Netflix, it is speculated to air towards the end of 2023, as the previous two seasons were released in December.
When asked if the fourth season will be the show's final chapter, Star said that there's no end in sight and the show could continue beyond the next season. This news is sure to delight the show's many fans.
