In "Fast X," the first part of the final ride in the highly popular "Fast and Furious" franchise, Jason Momoa takes on the role of Dante,
the franchise's new big antagonist, and vows to deliver a brutal and bone-crunching performance as he strives to break Vin Diesel's family.
The first trailer for the film has been released, and the franchise's fans are already counting down the days until its theatrical arrival on May 19, 2023.
The plot of "Fast X" continues up several months after the events of "Fast and Furious 9," with Vin Diesel reprising his role as the franchise's main character, Dom Toretto.
The plot will elaborate on Toretto's past, building on the brotherly rivalry between Dom and Jakob Toretto (John Cena). Rita Moreno makes her franchise debut as Dom's grandmother,
and the film also stars Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Jason Statham, Lucas Black, Shad Moss, Jason Tobin, and Anna Sawai.
Vin Diesel is also hoping to convince Dwayne Johnson to resume his role as Hobbs, while Cardi B is likely to make a return in in next part of "Fast X".
New cast members joining the franchise notably Aquaman actor Jason Momoa, who will play the film's main villain, and Captain Marvel actress Brie Larson as well as Alan Ritchson are also playing key roles.
The 3 minute and 41 second trailer shows some incredible action sequences. Michelle Rodriguez and Charlize Theron's hand combat is one highlighted one.
