Japan stunned Germany in a Group E game on Tuesday in Qatar World Cup, in Khalifa International Stadium, with a late comeback as they beat them 2-1 with goals from Ritsu Doan and Takuma Asano

The only goal from Germany came from the penalty spot he as Gundogan converted it in t32nd minute of the game.

This is the first time Japan has beaten their European opponents. Japan made history despite their first goal from Daizen Maeda being ruled out for offside.
