Ticketmaster website crashed as the server could not take the overwhemling number of millions of fans of the popular singer tried to book tickets.

Some fans who had registered in advance were promised exclusive access with special pre-sale codes but as website crashed they could not redeem their codes.

Website servers were not ready to accomodate all the fans as it suffered errors and glitches.

Many fans who had waited for hours in the ticket queue were kicked out of the site without a ticket booking in the end.

Statement from Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti stated, " Consumer Protection team will use every tool to ensure that consumer protection laws were voilated."
