South Korea clinched a pleasing win with a dramatic turnaround in the last few minutes of the game vs Portugal in Group H in FIFA World Cup 2022.

The 91st-minute winner scored by Hee-Chan Hwang turned out to be decisive as South Korea edged Uruguay on goal-scored in Group H.

While Portugal had already secured their qualification to the round of 16 with 6 points from first two games, Korea Republic had to win at any cost.

In the other game in Group H, Uruguay was leading Ghana 2-0 and was heading to the last 16 but the last-gasp goal from South Korea meant both Ghana and Uruguay went out of the World Cup.

Portugal started the game brightly and took the lead in the 5th minute as Ricardo Horta found the net with a Diago Dalot cross.

However, a Cristiano Ronaldo error in the 27th minute lead to South Korea's goal as Young-Gwon Kim equalized for them. Ronaldo had an off game and was substituted early in the second half.
