Top 10 Highest-Paid Athletes in the World in 2023

Reputed magazine, Forbes, has released the list World's 10 Highest Paid Athletes of 2023.

There is no surprise that football players top the highest-paid sportsmen list yet again.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Saudi club Al Nassr, tops the list with $136 million in earnings in 2023.

The figure is at an all-time high for a football player according to Forbes. $90 million of $136 comes from his brand collaboration.

Second on the list is Qatar World Cup winner, Lionel Messi, with $130 million in earnings. Messi earns half of that from his club PSG.

Third on the list, making his debut in top 10, is PSG and France striker Kylian Mbappe. The 24 year old earned $120 million as per Forbes.

Los Angeles Lakers forward, Lebron James, is 4th on the list with $119.5 million in earnings for the year 2023.
