Argentine football star Paulo Dybala has revealed his admiration for several La Liga players in a recent interview with Marca. The Roma forward spoke highly of Barcelona youngsters Gavi and Pedri, as well as their legendary midfielder Andres Iniesta.
Dybala, who has always been a fan of the Spanish league, praised the technical ability and skill of the young Barca duo, describing their style of play as something he enjoys watching. He also admitted to admiring the footballing genius of Iniesta, who is considered one of the best midfielders of all time.
“I always watch La Liga. I really like Gavi and Pedri, and I always admired Iniesta. I really like that style of play.“ Dybala said.
But Dybala’s admiration didn’t stop there. The Argentine also expressed his admiration for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, who he described as having an incredible quality and movement on the field. And he didn’t forget to mention the impressive form of Madrid’s Brazilian winger Vinicius, who has been in top form for Real Madrid in last two seasons.
Dybala stated, “I admire Benzema for the quality he has, for how he moves inside the field, and lately Vinicius, who is doing things in an incredible way.”
“I could say more,” Dybala added, “La Liga is a very nice league to watch.”
Paulo Dybala, a member of Argentina’s World Cup-winning squad in 2022, has been in excellent form in his first season with Roma, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists in 26 appearances under Jose Mourinho.
