This is how Real Madrid could line-up vs Real Betis

Real Madrid is currently grappling with multiple injuries. The latest setback for Ancelotti’s side is Carvajal’s injury, which sidelines him for the remainder of 2023 and is likely to cause him to miss 3 to 4 games.

Just four months into this season, Real Madrid has suffered a total of 19 injuries. Courtois, Militao, and new signing Arda Guler have faced major setbacks with complicated injuries, keeping them out for most of the season.

French nationals Camavinga and Tchouameni, regular starters at the heart of Real Madrid’s midfield, along with the main attacking threat from the left wing, Vinicius Jr., have also experienced injuries, further increasing the tension for Carlo Ancelotti.

Real Madrid Possible XI vs Real Betis

While Dani Ceballos has recovered and played a small part in Madrid match vs Granada, Luka Modric’s return to the squad for the Real Betis clash is a major boost for Carlo’s side.

He is expected to start the game if deemed fully fit. In the absence of Carvajal at the right back position, Ancelotti has the option to play Lucas Vazquez who has in recent years transferred from a traditional winger to Carvajal’s back-up.

Ancelotti also has the option of playing Nacho Fernandez, the all-rounder defender who can play in all defensive positions and set-ups. Kepa, as announced by Ancelotti already, should be back in his keeping duty over Lunin.

However, looking at the previous starting XI from Madrid manager, here is the possible Los Blancos starting XI:

Kepa;

Vazquez, Rudiger, Alaba, Mendy;

Valverde, Kroos;

Modric, Bellingham;

Brahim, Rodrygo.

Real Madrid play their La Liga away clash vs Real Betis on Saturday 9th December, at Benito Villamarin Stadium.
