The trailer of movie “Adipurush” was one of the most anticipated trailer of recent times. This anticipation was highly because of the presence of Indian movie superstar Prabhas and also because it is one of the big budgeted movie from Indian movie industry.
The budget of the movie is in excess of 500 crore. When a film has a such a high budget, it is normal for moviegoers and industry people to get excited for the release of the first sneak peak.
The trailer of this magnum opus was revealed during a big event on Tuesday. Prabhas alongside the director of the movie Om Raut and the entire team of “Adipurush” were present in the event to celebrate the release of the first teaser of the movie with fans and media persons.
The event was grand. The movie has been in news ever since its announcement. Fans were expecting something out-of-this world from the makers of the movie.
However, the anticipation and excitement of the hard-core fans wasn’t fruitful as the teaser of the movie was a big disappointment for all.
Fans and movie enthusiasts started showing their displeasure and disappointment on social media after the release of the trailer of the movie on YouTube.
Earlier, the director of the movie Om Raut had told the media and fans that they are going to witness never-seen-before VFX and incredible use of motion technology in his movie.
However, the fans felt disappointed after seeing a sneak peak of the VFX and use of motion technology. Many people on social media started trolling the makers of “Adipurush” for making an animated movie in the name of a high-budgeted VFX laden historic fantasy drama.
The look of the character were termed as “cartoonish” by many.
The main lead of the movie, the Bahubali fame, Prabhas also came under scrutiny for using body enhancement graphically rather hitting the fitness regime in real.
Fans started asking the question that whether the movie is an animated movie or not soon after the release of the trailer.
One thing is for sure that film has garnered some negative publicity on its way to its release date on 12th January 2023. It is going to be interesting to see how the makers and producers come up with innovative ways to market the film so as to make it a hit. The makers definitely need to bring some new and better teasers before the official release.

Adipurush is one of the most costly Indian films ever filmed, at a budget of over 500 crore (Indian rupees). The movie is directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles.
Adipurush is set to hit theatres on January 12, 2023, in Hindi and Telugu, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
