Marvel Studios just planned a special event for Guardians of the Galaxy series fans.
The “IMAX Guardians of the Galaxy Marathon” will screen all three movies of the series in select US theaters on May 3.
The event will feature the first two installments of the franchise, followed by an early showing of the much-awaited third installment, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be released in theatres worldwide on May 5, and is slated to be an emotional finale to the trilogy, focusing on Rocket Racoon’s origin story.
Relive the Adventure Before the End
Fans will be able to experience the cosmic team’s journey before their final adventure on the big screen throughout the marathon. Some cast members have indicated that they would be leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the upcoming film is supposed to be emotional. Director James Gunn has hinted at a significant death, and the picture is building up to be full of surprises.
Rocket’s Origin Story
Despite the fact that storyline specifics for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are uncertain, director James Gunn has hinted that the film will focus heavily on Rocket Racoon’s origin story.
Along with familiar faces like Peter Quill and Gamora, the film will introduce new MCU characters like Adam Warlock and High Evolutionary. The third installment of the Guardians trilogy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, is projected to be a dramatic finale to the trilogy.
