After Al Nassr’s 2-1 victory over Damac, Cristiano Ronaldo made headlines not just for his on-field performance but also for dropping hints about his future in a post-match interview.

The Portuguese superstar, who scored the winning goal, stated, “I will continue playing for this season and the next, and then I will look at my body if I can continue or not.”

Known for his exceptional goal-scoring abilities, the 38-year-old forward broke records once again in the match, notching up his 272nd career match-winning goal – a feat unmatched in the history of football.

Furthermore, Ronaldo celebrated a remarkable 860 career goals, solidifying his status as one of the greatest footballers ever.

The footballing legend was evidently pleased with the atmosphere at the stadium and acknowledged Al Nassr’s passionate fans, stating, “I am very happy to be in Saudi Arabia. Al Nassr fans make me happy, and I, in turn, must return the favor and make them happy.”

The match against Damac ended with Ronaldo delivering a crucial free-kick winner, helping Al Nassr secure three pivotal points to reach 22 points in 10 league games in the Saudi Pro League.

In 2023, he has notched up an astonishing 50 goal contributions, and with his 41st goal of the year, he leads Man City’s Erling Haaland (40 goals), who scored a goal earlier, as the highest-scorer by one goal.
