According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Kylian Mbappe’s relationship with his current club PSG is completely broken. The report further states that Mbappe wants to leave the club in January transfer window.
Mbappe is intending to leave PSG and join Real Madrid, his dream club, but it is learnt that PSG board will not allow him to join Madrid.
PSG’s reluctant to sell him to the Spanish club, mainly because of the transfer drama that happened in summer transfer window, but will allow him to leave for any other club.
However, Kylian Mbappe wants to join Real Madrid as the club has always been his preferred choice and dream club to play for since childhood. He was close to joining the Madrid side in the summer but in the later stage of transfer window he changed his mind and stayed at Parc de Princes.
Le Parisien also reported the same that Mbappe feels betrayed by the PSG’s board and wants to leave this January.
Le Parisien is also reporting that the Portuguese sporting director at PSG, Luis Campos also feels betrayed by PSG and intends to leave his role which he signed up for this summer.
Kylian Mbappe currently is on a three year contract at PSG which he signed in the summer of 2022 when his transfer saga to Real Madrid was on full force.
Real Madrid were confident on signing the 23 year old France international on a free transfer but that did not materialise as it was reported that PSG’s Qatari owners succeeded on making him sign a three year contract through power and influence.
It will be interesting to see how Real Madrid and the club president Florentino Perez respond to these reports as they also felt betrayed by Mbappe in the summer. It was reported that Mbappe had verbally agreed to join Madrid as a free agent in the summer but later backed down due to money, power and influence from the PSG hierarchy.
