While Andry Lunin has done an excellent job with the gloves for Real Madrid, Kepa is expected to be the main choice in absence of Courtois.
Ancelotti hinted at the same in his pre-match press conference, “Kepa is available for tomorrow. I will speak with him later but he has the green light from the doctors. Lunin will still play tomorrow, then Kepa will be ready for Betis,” he told the media.
Talking about many injuries Real Madrid has faced so far this season, Ancelotti stated, “It’s not just our problem, a lot of teams are affected. We lose a player every game… we have to hold on and continue like this. Now the players with less minutes can play.”
Real Madrid are going into the game with Castilla players like Nico Paz, Gonzalo and Theo to cover for the long list of absentees.
