Kroos Joins Benzema, Ronaldo and Others in Prestigious Real Madrid Appearance List

German midfielder Toni Kroos made his 400th appearance for Real Madrid in all competitions on Saturday against Espanyol, becoming the sixth foreign player to achieve the milestone in the club’s history.

Kroos, who joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2014, has been an integral part of the team since his arrival, playing a vital role in the club’s multiple Champions League titles in the last decade. Toni Kroos won four Champions League titles with Real Madrid and was a key player in Madrid’s 3-peat in Europe.

The 33-year-old midfielder, whose current Real Madrid contract ends in the coming summer of 2023, has also helped Real Madrid win three La Liga titles, multiple UEFA Super Cups, and five FIFA Club World Cups during his tenure with the Spanish club.

Kroos’ milestone puts him in the company of some of the club’s most illustrious foreign players, including Karim Benzema, Marcelo, Roberto Carlos, Luka Modric, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Benzema, the French striker, leads the list with 632 appearances for the club, followed by Brazilian left-back Marcelo with 546 appearances, and Roberto Carlos, another Brazilian, with 527 appearances.

Modric, the Croatian midfielder, is fourth on the list with 471 appearances, while Ronaldo, the Portuguese superstar, is fifth with 438 appearances.
