Fernando Santos announced the 26-man Portugal squad for the football World Cup to be played in Qatar from 20th November onwards.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe will lead the team. It is going to be Cristiano's 5th WC participation for Portugal and potentially his last.

One key exclusion from Squad by Santos was of that Renato Sanches, plays for PSG, who was the Young Player of Euro 2016 which Portugal won.

Meanwhile, Liverpool forward Jota had to unfortunately miss the World Cup due to a injury that put him on sidelines for weeks.  Here's the Portugal WC Squad in full:

Ronaldo's Portugal are placed in Group H of the Qatar World Cup, with Ghana, Uruguay, and Korea Republic completing the group. World Cup will start on Sunday 20 November.
